Suitcase for lights?

Group buy? I bet they will go $2,499.95 if we get 100 pieces

I was thinking about using these. There are 3 slot and 6 slot versions. But you are still looking at $25-40 for a 3 slot model

Like most buys or reviews, people will start saying they will wait till the price drops to $2300, or nitpick the hinges and latches, or brand x is bigger and holds more.
Personally, I will wait till the prices drops to $20. After 11 lights and 32 new Panasonic batteries in the last few months, I am kinda broke at the moment.

I bet Zero Halliburton doesn't have as many sales reps as Supbeam. :D

hahahahahaha... I think each one is multiple people ta boot. Supbeam (and authorized dealers) are starting to look like a joke

I don't know what's up with Supbeam being full of pathological liars. Or more likely, just one pathological liar that we can't get past. It started with Alice being unwilling to admit that her avatar wasn't really her. Their lies aren't major yet, but it makes me uneasy. I'd definitely want an intermediary when dealing with them.

As far as cases, the dj case may be especially attractive to me because I used to do mobile dj work. I know some of the equipment can take a beating. There are a couple companies that'll build a custom case.

I used to know of a company that you could buy all the parts from, from multi-ply birch with painted aluminum laminate, to edging, and hinges and latches. Wait...this may be it, but it looks more out of date than the last time I visited the site over a decade ago.

I get all my cases at Goodwill for a couple bucks: aluminum cases, laptop cases, real leather briefcases that go for $100 new, even some makeup cases look and work super (hard to explain on that last one w/out a picture). I fill em with gray foam and cut out the flashlight shapes with a box cutter or one of my super-sharp cheapie Chinese folding knives.

Saving all that money leaves me more for flashlights.

Hope this helps!!!
