As for better than the nitecore ea41 i don’t know after having acouple of the EA4’s i bought die i stayed away from this offering.

The D40A i have 2 of them one NW one cool and both have been superb which is why i bought another NW one, I will test it then store it away as a spare. That is how highly i rate the D40A NW.

Get some Eneloops and you should have years of light.
