Thanks for sharing. I like the change to a parallel battery set up and how the holster extends the full length of the flashlight and appears to be sealed at the bottom. I can't wait to see how this light responds to modding.

No. It looks like the batteries would be parallel, but they are not. The battery holder gives 16.8V to the driver, but somehow (don't know how, yet) charges the cells with ~5V voltage (= parallel?!?).

Suprisingly this big reflector doesn’t outthrow TN32, even though K50 is hardly driven as well.
Doesn't, or then, maybe it does.. wemmwemm measured 245kcd, which is more than TN32. My sample is obviously a pre-production version and it doesn't reach 1600lm either ("only" 1320lm OTF 30s) => I assume that (not measured yet) it's mildly driven => more modding potential.. ;)
This guy calculates that it'll throw much better even if it's not driven to the max.
How interesting. If its not to much trouble, could you please unscrew the connecting screws and remove the top plates off the carrier? It would be interesting to see whats between the two plates on each end to manage that.
I can try. The other end has epoxied screws, but hey.. I'll do whatever for the review! :)

No problem. But you have to wait.. I need to perform all measurements and take beamshots first. There's always a risk of ruining the light. ;)
