So in April I went to a horror film festival in PA at a Drive-In theater. I brought along my video camera and made a short film about the trip. I was able to visit the Monroeville Mall (where they filmed Dawn of the Dead) and interview the organizers of the event. There’s some good info in the interviews about the state of the drive-in theater… and what it takes to run one. Anyway this is waaaay off topic, but maybe a few people might enjoy it.
Modern horror movies can’t compare to the old school Hammer films. The new Hammer films are surprisingly good. Amicus and Tigon had a few good ones too.
RIP Sir Christopher Lee 1922-2015
I heard the news a few days ago at work… how sad. Love the Dracula movies… and I think I own all of them. I would like to go the Hammer festival… the only problem is… I’m not a night owl… I usually crashed after the 2nd movie a night. Maybe I should have had some red bull?
Thats it. No more mhanlen videos for me. I believe you have sucked more than enough of my brain cells from my feeble head with your Zombie pals and had very little sleep as I'm to afraid to close my eyes at night with fear that you will come and get me. Trust me when I say I need everyone of the few that work brain cells I have left. Enoughs enough.
Wait, I hear voices in my head again. They are saying what a terrific video from Mr Hanlen as it was so enthralling listening to people about there personal interest in a subject of which you have captured their enthusiasm in your own amicable style.
No stop it. Hanlens Zombies taking over my senses. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
You’ll definitely want to stay away from my 4 or so reviews coming up this month then. Go to a drive-in instead!
hummm Zombies and pittsburrrrrrgh
