What is the advantage of this design
The bigggest drawback i can see instantly is lose a lot of lumen

I like the concept. Even my best zoomies are not completely uniform in flood position, it is nice to see a flashlight that has uniformity as its primary design concept, and I can think of applications for that. I do fear that this flashlight is not about output or efficiency.
