The only possible drawback to the Tenergy 2600 flat top batteries is that you can not use them as-is in multicell flashlights or single cell flashlights that do not have a spring on the LED end.
I have a set of gasket punches that I got years ago from Harbor Freight.
I find some firm plastic that is a bit thinner than one of the little magnets and then punch out a disk about 18mm and a smaller hole in the middle for the magnet.
Then use a toothpick and some Super Glue Gel to fix the magnet in the center hole.
You could do the same thing by hand with some extra effort.
I have received 8 of these from this ebay seller...
one was bad and the seller did more than replace the bad cell. As they are a liquidation co. They did well on replacements.
They only offer the 12 pack for $39.99 now.
Just as any batteries you order/receive check to make sure there is no physical defect visable. the first ones were "overly wrapped" at the PCB to the point where you need to be careful about dropping them into ur application(scrape at the PCB). The first 4 were thinly wrapped. The replacements are much better.
I have not done discharge/capacity tests on them yet but when you get them they will need charge... some badly. There were some that read on the multimeter at 3.75v but took close to 2000mah of charge. this is a good thing...
Share with a friend and get the 12 he offers. These are old stock from somewhere, but for the most part they are good.
I was looking at them earlier when there were three left. I thought about getting all of them even though I don't need them. Then I saw your post and saw it drop to one. Then I got weak.
