I have some of these that were used for powering an underwater photo strobe. They’ve deteriorated pretty rapidly, with the internal resistance going WAY up and capacity down. They don’t have enough performance to work in the strobe at all anymore and are only good for low draw applications. Self discharge is high.
You are better off with stock LSD Eneloops or the high cap version of similar cells. In a short time the Ansmann will be working far more poorly than a stock Eneloop.
