This cell is obviously trying to impersonate an INR cell while having the IR 3 times of normal lico, and 8 (yes eight) times of true high current cell.
For this it deserves to be slammed and warned against!
Saying “slightly higher current” is like saying its ok to totally scam us.
If you let them, they will just keep doing it!
Thanks 59. I have downloaded the Cylindrical Li-ion Battery manual found here, no reference of cells higher than 2800mAh capacity. The manual is pretty dated (2016/08/05), though.
For the complainers all I will say is don't buy if you don't like. The false wrap advertising doesn't depreciates the product, it is consequence of the overall li-ion industry to layman consumer fears and the ignorance motivated low vibration of potential buyers.
The unit cost of these cells makes them a nice choice for an affordable battery pack assembly.
if cycle life is good might be ok for large packs with lots of p.
that could offset the crazy high ir.
all laptop pulls i have seen with that high of ir were just plain ol worn out.
The internal resistance of this cell is not “crazy high” snakebite, not because you are accustomed to high or standard discharge cells of first brand manufacturers makes a ≈70mΩ figure bad at all. In fact, some 18650 energy cells from the top four have comparable or even higher numbers. Very few, of course.
Their main problem is improvable consistency. Their main avantage is super affordable price.
