Test/Review of LiitoKala Lii-100

just look in post #14

Thanks again for your time and effort, very much appreciated.

Is it possible, that the lable on the backside is wrong?
In the second line of ā€œOutput:ā€ it says ā€œDC 4.65V 500mA/1000mAā€. Shouldn’t it be 3.65V for Li-Fe?

That label is wrong, 3.65V is more correct.

Thank you very much for thi review, now I will buy one of this, finally
Just a silly question (please don’t hate me) : are you plain to do a tear down to see if LitoKala 100 and Skilhunt M1 have the same part inside?
Probably they are not different, so why the Skilhunt charger cost double?

I seldom tear down chargers.

Probably due to different business strategies, one dealer sells as cheap as possible, the other dealer tries to maintain some quality.
I do not always go for the cheapest deal, I know it cost money to write a manual and assure that you products have a certain quality.

HKJ:

Thanks for getting around so quickly to review this charger.

I was surprised that it works so well as a 1A power bank.

I’m glad I picked up a couple when they were on sale earlier. smile

Thanx again, well done :aOK:

I have the tendency of leaving cells fully charged and store them for later use. I wonder if the .05V higher termination could lead to quicker deterioration?

I have two of those chargers and when I measure the voltage right after charging I get 4.19 or 4.20 Volts. Can’t confirm the high voltage.

I ordered mine on the 29th of January and I showed up today! Wow that is fast! I love it, wish I had ordered a couple of them.

You have to measure just before it stops charging.

I bought the charger and happy to see the review.
Thanks!

Thanks for one more great review HKJ.

Thanks for the review HKJ.
What happens to the lights when a battery is fully charged?

lights stop blinking

That’s what I thought, thanks.

Just checked 4 chargers, measured within 30 minutes of charge termination, 4.19, 4.20, 4.21, 4.22. Very satisfied with these chargers and they all worked.

The lights stop blinking with all Blue indicators solid, then eventually all lights go out… What does this indicate?

I checked and there is no current going to the battery when the blue lights are solid. I don’t know why they turn off after some time.

I have some issues with flat top cells. Some of them don’t make a good contact. That’s the only downside I found so far. Well the second one is that you can’t give this charger to anybody because there is a risk that they will press the button and charge to 4,35v a standard battery… I wonder if there is a risk of fire in that case…
