Test/Review of Windyfire IMR16340 600mAh (Yellow)

Windyfire IMR16340 600mAh (Yellow)

Official specifications:

  • Capacity: 600mAh
  • Nominal voltage: 3.7V
  • Max. discharge current: 3A
  • Standard charge: 0.3A-0.75A/4.2V

A high current 16340, in this size high current only means a few amps.

The two cells has fairly good tracking and the 3A rating looks very resonable.

The combination of capacity and current ability look good in this cell.

Comparison to other LiIon batteries

Nice capacity, but not IMR. This is obviously normal LiCo.
I have a real IMR 18340s that have 20 miliohm 1kHz AC resistance - that equals your calculated 0,04 DC resistance - that’s INR/IMR!

Is it? They have better performance than AW's IMR16340 cells.

You cannot compare AC impedance and DC resistance

Nice that the cell has discharge and charging specs on it. Wish they all had that. Hoping they keep up the quality!
