Terrible times on the 4th. 6" of rain in an hour.
Flash floods in a summer camp in the middle of the night.
The river crested 28-30+'. Many still missing.
8-12 year olds. How terrifying and sad!

It’s hard to believe that much water could come up that fast, Tsunami like water.
My heart goes out to all who are searching for loved ones and the ones who have lost loved ones.
Horrible. “Mother Nature” seems to have no regard. Nothing strikes me more than the tragedy of lost children, regardless of the cause. Natural disasters, Wars, “accidents”, disease, criminal victimization, parental negligence…it matters not. It isn’t right, and it breaks my heart. God speed to all affected.
Just found out that a lady who lives a few blocks away lost both of her daughters, sons in laws, and granddaughters. Can’t imagine the grief.
One interview an 8? yr. Old told how he climbed to the upper bunk bed then the rafters to escape the rising water. What a brave kid.
All the Best, Jeff
Just found out the ladies granddaughter was found alive clinging to the top of a tree many miles down stream from their vacation cabin.
And some of these places have spotty cell coverage.
The missing and dead toll continues to rise.
The wreckage along the river banks is surreal. Worse than any disaster movie set.
All the Best, Jeff
This video below answered a lot of questions that I had about this event. This guy is an engineer. He does multiple things on his channel. One thing he does really good is dig deep to find a lot of information about a lot of disasters and other bad events. He does sometimes make mistakes but as new information comes out or there’s enough to make another video he’ll acknowledge his mistakes if he made any. Scroll through some of the videos on his channel and you’ll definitely find some that are very interesting.
Clicked the link and then went right to Youtube itself to bookmark, as your post will most likely be removed or thread locked soon.
People don’t want the truth sometimes as Jack Nicholson so aptly pointed out. Actual quote"you can’t handle the truth!"
It’s probably just Third rail stuff.
Got no dog in this fight, I just want to watch the video tomorrow when I have time to commit and fear it will no longer be here.
Feel sorry for the victims, have personally been displaced for long periods by floods twice and it scared me then and now.
Peace.
The first 30 seconds of the video might give you the wrong impression of where he’s going. In all of his videos he tries to answer a lot of the questions that are out there.
