Thanks to the quickie review I ordered this light. It arrived in three days and it’s just as described by the seller and by Old Lumens. It’s a nice light. I’m not certain I want to mod this light . Stock, on high power, it’s too hot to touch after 15 minutes. Medium power is only slightly dimmer than high power. The light still gets hot on medium power, but it (barely) remains comfortable to hold. I don’t see the usefulness of modding this light. Whats the point of driving the emitters harder when the light gets seriously hot (on high) after only 15 minutes or so?
To my newbie eyes the light is quite bright. It’s brighter than my XML-3T6 or my Defiant 3D, my 2 brightest lights.
