I noticed on the K65 box it was marked 6500K. Looking at my Q8 it says 6000-6500K. The Q8 produces white light while the K65 produces yellow light. The Q8 is great and shine better than the K65.
Why the diff? Since the K65 was bought used I felt that it was messed with. I couldn't find a tool to fit the screws on the LED plate but the screws looked damaged.
Your thoughts?

But no I was thinking maybe the last owner changed the emitter? I don’t know I don’t have K65 or Q8.
Yes, something like that could've happened. Should both the lights with 6500K beams show the same color though?

Looks like the led is not the one on the box, more like 3500K.
I would change it to at least 5000K or my favorite 6500K dedomed will drop to around 6000K.
There are several threads here on BLF to help you dedome and reflow the led.

Just as I figured out, not an original emitter. Thanks for confirming this. Now I know for sure the screws were damaged.
