A brief description of the builds:
Ruckusmattster made a 9Mcd 20k lumen Short Arc searchlight out of scavenged parts.
GorgTech designed and 3d printed a golden desk lamp with articulating neck.
chipmunk designed and 3d printed a four legged task light, featuring an adjustable spot size.
MtnDon fabricated a rectangular light from metal tubing and wood, with a triple optic and wood accents.
Worrub918 transformed an old Mag-lite, with dual channel output and Anduril 2 firmware.
Hunter-Jackson outfitted a Convoy L7 with a large triple optic and three SFT40 LEDs.
TheEinherjar made a clicky flashlight out of a disposable vape tube and some parts, featuring built in USB charging.
YuvalS successfully made a copper flashlight by means of a novel wire wrap construction technique.
RobotSquid designed and fabricated a dual channel headlamp, with custom driver and firmware.
koef3 turned an old LEDLENSER V2 into a triple triple, with nine LEDs, a new switch, and custom battery carrier.
Pinkpanda3310 gave a Convoy S2+ a magnetically controlled illuminated tailcap.
Dandyhorse fit a Ledil Anna 7-lens spot optic and 7x 519A LEDs into an orange Convoy C8+.
Skylight converted a Starfish X40 into a triple XHP70.3 HI light, and baked the anodize to achieve a dark green finish.
turbiny took a light from childhood and gave it new life as a UV light, with 5mm UV LEDs.
NeutralFan made a lantern out of a green metal canister and other parts on hand.
Saltyboi6704 utilized 3d printing to build an actively cooled RGB accent light, featuring custom controls and USB charging.
QReciprocity42 made a Convoy S2+ mule light, with 12x Seoul SunLike violet-pumped emitters, and with an illuminated tailcap.
Serlite turned a wooden picture frame box into a desk lamp, with ample diffusion.
clockwork made super low power bullet style LED marker lights, an alternative to tritium vials.

Man it is hard to decide who to vote for, so many great projects! Torn between items I wish I could own and use, and ones that are just cool in concept and horsepower.

If you are referring to the results being hidden until the poll closes that is quite new for me, too. I think it is a good thing because this way people are not influenced by the choice of others.
