I may not enter this yr because I was unaware this existed and thus am ill prepared with no reflector in hand.

I would love to enter the contest for the first time. I have some very interesting things in mind but there is too much to figure out to have it done in this timeframeā€¦ And I will probably dont have enough time anyway.

Bumpity-bump, MRsDNF. Iā€™m mentally sorting through the 2 or 3 ideas I came up with. The one that seems most likely to come out on top seems to involve more assorted wood pieces than metal. :laughing:

I will open a build thread when I decide which way to go.

I entered once in 2014, 1x AAA angle light, and i hardly finished, that is, the light worked for about an hour, and then a short circuit developed, and the tiny TIR dedomed a 219B for the second timeā€¦
I still have the parts somewhereā€¦ :person_facepalming:
The build thread has no more picturesā€¦

I was gonna join the scratch build contest again, but canā€™t think of anything special and / or doableā€¦
So i might join, but only when i have a good idea.

Iā€™ve had stuff rattling around my head since seeing this thread. Iā€™m starting to hone down my idea. Wonā€™t be anything ground breaking but once I collect enough parts to make a start Iā€™ll open a thread :disguised_face:
