After countless hours of testing, I finally have the first set of results comparing some of the best 21700 high-power lithium-ion cells. This is just a sneak peek at how these batteries perform under a 40A load—full detailed results coming soon!

What We’re Testing: Voltage sag over time Current stability Power output differences Capacity & efficiency Temperature performance
I did the best of my abilities to produce this report and share my experience. There is so much I need to learn yet and any positive or negative comments will be welcome.
Good job. Thanks for doing it. I see why people are getting higher lumen measurements at turbo on startup with the JP40 cells.
That power over time graph explains this …well, graphically!
No, it is not good for comparison. That 2nd to last graph has a massive error on it that is beyond interpretation. You couldn’t be bothered to retest it before publishing the results?
Also, why is the JP40 datasheet on your site all chopped up and weird? Do you not have a proper datasheet?
Yes now is available. My apologies. This graph was taken from last year. I will update all my graphs with my new equipment soon. I just purchased a West Mountain Radio CBA V Pro - 100V - Computerized Battery Tester.
I agree the graphic is not perfect at all but can give us a very good idea of the performance. For perfect graph lets check Mooch test or Pajda.
OTH, he took the time and devoted the energy and expense to get these tests done. Graphs are not perfect, but I think good enough to be able to see some interesting cell differences. I would thank @ZEUS-FL for doing the testing.
I have the same charger as well x2 and multiples ATORCH as well. But I will relay in the new equipment since is more reliable for better results. Yes I have the original Ampace Datasheet as well. Send me a private and i will share with you.
