The length of 18650 vs 18350 tubes

What is the difference in length between these two tubes? Or in other words how much shorter the light becomes when fitted with the 18350 one?

Going by battery symbols that should be some 3 cm, but I want to make sure if I’m doing it right.

An 18350 is 30mm shorter than an 18650.

Length difference IF19 tube: 36mm
Length difference S2+ tube: 33mm
Length difference Sofirn button top 18650 and 18350: 31mm

The Rechargeable Liion batteries we use in Flashlights are named after their size.

Examples:
18350 = 18mm wide, 35mm Tall and 0 = Round
18650 = 18mm × 65mm, Round
21700 = 21mm × 70mm, Round

There will be slight variations of maybe a few mm depending on the internal battery contacts.
Also protected cells are typically a few mm taller.

And, thogh not exactly the same topic: which Wurkkos clips would fit the Wurkkos (or Sofirn) 18350 tube groove?

Any clip that fits the 18650 bodies. Same diameter, but generally the 18650 tube clips will be awkwardly long on the shorter 18350 lights.

I noticed that the ‘clamp’ that goes into a groove on the light tube may be of different width? Is that irrelevant?

The 18350 Sofie tube I have has no grooves for clips.

I have no idea where the clip would go on the convoy, I always use screw in clips for all my convoys.

I thought these were grooves and that the clip ‘collar’ width should match them. Workkos has 3 different clips and the widths seem different.

I’m told these clips are great for deep carry of a SC31 Pro with the Sofirn 18350 tube.
