I would sure like to know what the beam does on the output of the lens before it hits the mirror, whether it is collimated to infinity focus, or is focused down to a point :)
Can you tell me what the approximate diameter is of the phosphor itself?
You use 2 lens if you can’t get a lens with the exact focal length. It doesn’t matter where the secondary is so long as it catches all the light and directs it to the primary.
This is how it works both are in focus and collect all the light.
Short focal length makes the beam wider
Long focal length narrows the beam

I was planning on casting and machining it from aluminium that is what I know. It may need a separate battery to switch it. I have been looking at scopes and cctv cameras with 300mm lens. To hold it steady it will have a shoulder rest or mounted on a surveyors tripod.
Tomorrow I will have the other 9, one spare
This week I am ordering steel for a new 9m x 14m shed. Hopefully it will be big enough. I eventually want a 3D printer and CNC laser/plasma cutter. I dream of using a TIG welder in the 24inch mirror
I am very curious what intensity you can measure with all of them alligned.
btw.
Here's a comparison video of 10 of big-head LEP flashlights (Single cell only)
There's one more LEP incoming (dual cell) in the mail that sounds very promising... so I'll wait a bit for that one to arrive before doing my next video.
but the price is also pretty steep :D € 237,50 for the cheapest.
The Maratac definitely looks a bit like Lumintop, so I wouldn't be surprised there. But in the past it seemed to be related to ITP, I believe.. And if I'm correct, ITP turned into Olight?
