Looks good. I like the S12 as a host for otherwise underpowered emitters. Three 219b emitters in this look great, not too floody, decent sustained output. I’d be curious to see what three of the red Osram 4040 emitters would look like in this, but it would be a pain sorting out the MCPCB for it

I have the UV version, and often wondered about putting regular white emitters into it. and by that I mean getting a second one as a host.
It looks to be pretty good with red emitters. Your comment here is the first I’ve seen anything about the CULPM1.23 4040 red, but I haven’t searched since I bought one.
I do not yet know how it compares to the W1 or W2 red. I haven’t put it into a light yet, I need to buy more hosts. However, I already have one dedicated red flooder, and two or three combo lights with red. I would like to see it in a thrower, so maybe I’ll just get a C8 or something for it.
I imagine it would be quite the light with three of them inside, even with the relatively shallow reflectors.
I have one with 3x519a in 5700K and it’s a wonderful light with a wide hotspot and lots of spill.
A S16 with a B35AM in 5700K is on the way to give me a bit more throw than the S16 with a LHP531 6500K that I already have
