This is for those of you that like to play with high voltages. Take a tube bend it into a circle. Put in a small amount of hydrogen. Then wrap the outside with a coil of wire. Add high voltage. The hydrogen should ionize which will result in the protons traveling in one direction and the electrons traveling in the other. This should glow pink just like a neon light tube. To upgrade this you will need to add a wire on the inside which will absord the electrons and allow the protons free travel. It may be possible to trap the electrons with a conductive glass. However this will interfere with electric and magnetic fields getting to the hydrogen. Now that you have the basic technology you can give the protons targets to collide with producing other types of light. I got the idea from the thoretical idea of supeionic ice. Put ice under enough pressure and the oxygen forms a crystal which will allow the free travel of protons. I came up with the word proticity which turned out to be a real word. This is generally protons moving very slow through organic materials.
I read that too fast as “prosthetic tube”.
I like this version better.
