Maybe a diffuser film could help the beam pattern a bit. Ghetto, I know, but effective at tweaking things like this.

Any word on if this driver is available for purchase? I’m looking to reflow some 3000k SFT40’s into my SP36 and this would be a fun addition as well.

Keep in mind you would need to mod the mcpcb for different configuration if using SFT-40’s.

The SP36 Pro comes with SST40 which are also 5050.
The previous version came with LH351D, those are 3535 so something would need to be done with the MCPCB.

The difficult part is to remove the brass rings under the original driver. Obviously when we have in the hands the new unbelievable good and super fantastic driver😬

Amazing driver for DM80. And I’m very curious about the functionality of the single MOSFET located between the shunt resistor. I guess its for truncate the LED current via another PWM channel to accomplish lower gear like moonlight mode?
