Chester loves stinking muddy puddles. Unfortunately Dieta sometimes follows him. An hour to get him clean today. And an hour and a half to clean the bathroom…

I used to have a Patterdale terrier that loved water, and would make a hole like that one from a little puddle, by scratching and digging, whilst barking and snapping at the water/mud. He’d end up filthy, so we used to then take him to a weir pool, or the “rinse cycle” as we preferred to call it (clean water, he’d just have a swim), before going back on our boat.
Trouble is, he would take in so much water that he needed about three toilet walks over the next hour or so to get rid of all the water. Never know a dog pee for so long.
Just showed the photo to my wife, whose comment was “reminds me of someone”.
