While it helped me out last time to win a voucher :party: it is not exactly good when DX official puts up competitions and gets barely any response because no one sees the thread, just like this new one
Yes, this is the behavior by design. Commercial sellers who buy an advertisement do get the added perk of a company subforum where they can post all the deals and promotions they want. But most users probably wouldn’t like the Recent Posts list to be dominated by commercial offers and promotions.
Makes sense or rather it probably made sense at the time but given how dead those forums are now, maybe it’s worth a rethink?
The commercial sellers are still allowed a limited number of posts in the main Commercial Sellers’ Spot section, which do appear on the frontpage. So they could maintain a few threads there with links to their subforum for discussion or details of every new deal or promotion they offer.
I shall suggest that to DX official 
FWIW, I appreciate the front page not having commercial sellers’ posts. It leaves more room for the good stuff.

Definitely. Stuff gets pushed down fast enough as it is. Can you imagine OL’s giveaway threads replaced with advertising?
yep, remember when wallbuy had a presence…….the first three pages were nothing but spam.
this is much better, and since I have no interest in dx, keeping them out of the main forum is definitely appreciated.
