Been looking at a few Thrunite lights lately and decided to get a T1s, went on Amazon uk to order and all Thrunite stuff seems to have disappeared overnight… anyone know where to order for UK/Europe? Their website won’t deliver here …
I’ve bought some Thrunite lights in the past. First from NKON, later from the Thrunite website.
The first doesn’t sell Thrunite anymore. The second only ships to US, Canada, and Germany.
Amazon NL lists only a handfull lights, IMHO way overpriced. Some from sellers in Turkye (!) some from UK.
I leave it it to you, but one UK seller is ACHERNAR BY LTD (with a Turkish director).
CUSTOMISE4ALL, 71 75 SHELTON STREET, Shelton Street, London, Covent Garden, WC2H 9JQ, GB
Good luck hunting.
Thanks for that …
Hmm weird. I’d assume there’s some licencing agreement that someone has. Does the thrinite website have a lost of distributers?
Flashaholics, heinnie and torchdirect don’t have what you’re looking for either.
This must be recent as I was looking at Thrunite products on Amazon just the other day. They did this a few years ago as well.
Were loads on about 3 days ago when I was looking, from memory they were shipped by Amazon UK for David C Trading, who I can find nothing more about … there’s a couple of US imports show up but I’m not paying £60 for a T1s!
ThruNite is completely gone from Amazon DE as well.
The plot thickens … might get an Eagtac DX3b mini instead … anyone used one of those?
Not on my search its not and I’ve tried 2 different browsers …
If you type in specific model names you get your results, trouble is they are US imports and double the price they were a few days ago … weird.
Hadn’t realised they were imports. Everything on the Amazon shops is expensive. Sofirn and Wurkkos offer discount and promo codes that still don’t bring the prices down to factory direct prices. Sad to lose Thrunite though, I’m not sure why they’ve excluded the UK.
It is strange, and old posts show they’ve obviously done something similar before … still there loss will be another manufacturer’s gain eh?
Gave up and went for an Eagtac DX3b mini, I know its getting on a bit now but for £29 I think it should do for me …
Thrunite have been fairly quiet with new releases recently.
Don’t see much discussion on here about Eactag, apparently the owner has engineering background and the drivers are pretty efficient.
Guess I’ll find out when it arrives! It’s been out for a good 5 yrs now and from what i can see most people thought it was a good light but way overpriced … found someone doing it for £29 which makes it worth talking the chance …
