Thrunite T10 tailcap wont unscrew?

I just bought a thrunite t10 and received it on Sunday. The flashlight I got has a tailcap that won’t unscrew? I have been trying some different rechargeable nimh batteries because they’re difficult to remove battery if the tailcap doesn’t unscrew anymore. I have been talking to thrunite about it. I told them how I liked the light a lot but some batteries are difficult (won’t come out) to remove. They told me that the older t10 had a tailcap that was removable, it’s no longer a screw tailcap. Has anyone else bought a t10 recently?
Thanks

Here you see the reason people sometimes search for older generation lights.

Yeah I just understand why they would make it so difficult to get the tailcap off. It has to be more work for them and its now nore difficult to remove batteries that are a tight fit.

No, on the latest T10 the tailcap won’t unscrew, it’s part of the tube.

And please DO NOT use alkaleaks with your T10!

(my first T10 was destroyed because of it, now I know better :smiling_imp: )

Yeah I have been using rechargeable nimh aa batteries. I’ve heard many stories about alkalines leaking in flashlights so I’ll just stay away.

The tailcap IS removable, but does have threadlock so you have to break it once and then it’s easily removable.
