THRUNITE T2. 2.0. Same layman.

I’ve been going around with my T2 for a few days now.

The fact that you have a lot light right at your feet, when
pointing horizontally from your middle torso, is intoxicating.
And is a serious amount of illumination too.
Again, the mother of all flood lights.

The only comparison for flood, that I have available, is the EC65.
Which is floody. but doesn’t put light right at your feet.
And is still over 100 bucks.
Is brighter than all the S43s. I have ’em all., I think.
The EDC18 tries, but falls short. Besides, the turbo lasts milliseconds.
This here light, has a serious turbo duration.

I dislike the OI. Infinity, with blinking at both ends,
like the T1, would be better for me. Matter of preference.
However, I find myself locked out when I need the light the most.
Maybe if I read the instructions, life would be better. But I won’t.

All in all, they have Olight beat with the wide flood.
They have nothing like it. I know, I have ’em all too.
The blue color is different than the Olight Blue. More shiny.
They finally beat Olight at something. Super powerful flood.
Over and Out.

Cheers.

Is that a regulated driver?

The T2 uses a boost driver, however the max mode does depend on battery voltage.

Interesting little light. $10 off at Amazon right now.

Purchased a T2 limited edition from Thrunite direct during their 20% off Christmas sale, Desert Tan color in NW. Yes it’s a Beast! The output on turbo is amazing, it’s pretty much the same output as my T20.

It was hard to decide because the blue color is nice too. I agree about the UI, also being the owner of a T1 I too was wondering why the ramping didn’t make it to the T2. But my main complaint about the T1/T2 is the Olight style ribs instead of Thrunite’s exceptional knurling that I’m used to on their other models.

Unfortunately I’m currently awaiting a reply about returning the T2 because the one I received is a very dark brown color (coffee beans, Hershey bar) instead of Desert Tan.

I also got a TH30 NW on the sale, another great light it’s nearly as bright as the T2, but a drawback is it has SOS in the dimming sequence! :person_facepalming:
