The Thrunite Ti Pro is a new AA sized keychain light. The Ti Pro most likely uses an SST-20 emitter in cool white, which is rated for 1000 lumens on high. The beam profile is very smooth with a large hotspot thanks to the TIR optic. Overall it’s a nice beam profile for an edc / keychain light. Included in the package is an 920 mah 14500 battery, pocket clip, and USB-C cable. The included battery is not proprietary and the light functions just fine with my other button top 14500’s. The Ti Pro is also compatible with standard AA batteries.
The Ti Pro does not have a charging port on the exterior of the light it’s built into the battery itself. This is a plus as it helps with water intrusion. The design is very similar to the Archer UV. There is good knurling on the head which is helpful as this light is a twisty to operate. The pocket clip is not dual direction, but has good retention and is fairly deep carry.
The UI is simple as a twist operation. When the head is fully tightened its turns the light onto low. A quick twist off and on cycles low, medium, and high modes. Low mode is rated for 30 lumens with a runtime of 19 hours. Medium mode is rated for 277 lumens for 150 minutes. High mode is rated at 1012 lumens for 120 seconds and then steps down to 262 lumens for an additional 133 minutes. .
Things I like:
- Included 14500 battery with built-in charging
- Great smooth beam profile
Things I don’t like:
- It’s an Aluminum light but its called Ti Pro
