Tight fit open top holster for AA flashlights?

I’m having trouble finding a good holster for sofirn sp10 style flashlight. I am looking for one that is small and without a cover on top, such as a velcro or button. It’s the elastic that holds the light in the pouch. Ideally it’s affordable and it needs to be shipped to Canada too.

Is there any recommendations or suggestions? Thanks.

I have that niteize holster; the only “whine” I have is that it is a pta to unhook quickly from molle webbing.
I do find it very useful though.

Do you mean the difficulty is removing the flashlight from the holster or removing the holster from the belt?

Removing the holster from the belt. There’s a lip on the clip to make it more secure, which it does, but if you need to un hook it from your belt or in my case molle webbing. it does un hook but it’s a little fiddly.
The light comes out of the holster just fine and is ok for “normal” use.

I like that the holster revolves while still attached and because of the open end configuration you can use the light while it’s still in the holster.

Sounds like you want something like the old Fenix L1T holsters. They were simple and effective but I haven’t seen any like it in a long time.

I believe that is the one I have, or an equivalent. I’m amazed it lasted so long but now it’s is at end of life so I’m looking for a replacement.

I like the utility of this design, however, would the elastic gets so loose and the flashlight falls out? My light is a Sofirn SP10PRO.

I’ve had this for years in high humidity; the elastic is not loose or stretched out.

You could use a file or some sandpaper. A dremel tool would work wonders and, grind off, grind down or re-angle the lip so it comes off easier.

I've tried looking at the suggested Nite Ize, but it looks kind of too big. Considering that it can fit up to a D size flashlight, using it for a AA flashlight seems a bit overkill.

I did find a similar item on Aliexpress:

It still looks to be somewhat too big for my application. I'm quite tempted to give it a try, but at $10 if I don't like it, it'll become junk, so I'm hesistent.

This one is very very close to what I'm looking for, but looking at the width dimension of 26mm, compared to the Fenix holster I'm using, which is 20mm, it could be slightly too big and the flashlight would slide out.

I really like the form factor of this Fenix holster. It's completely concealed and it weight nothing. However, even with this size, the Sofirn SP10 Pro sometimes still fell out, so ideally the holster should be even tighter.
