Time Lapse, 48 Cameras, 67 floors, 6 years, in 3.6 minutes

Here is a cool time lapse video. Shot with with some fancy Sony cameras.
I love watching this sort of thing.
All the Best,

great find, I love time lapse videos.

Great video, thanks for sharing. :white_check_mark:

Wonder how they got those cranes out of the center—that would have been interesting to see too.

I’ve wondered myself.
Best guess, dissemble and lower down the elevator shafts?
Or some sort of maintenance shaft that runs the whole way up?
All the Best,
Jeff

I prefer older buildings, they tend to last longer. The prewar buildings are approaching 100 years old. I doubt that building will last 50 years.

That is very interesting.
6 years still seems like a long time considering the Empire State Building was built 90 years ago in just over 1 year and under budget to boot and is still going strong.

This building is much larger for sure, just different times and a lot less regulations/codes in effect back in the day may have made the speed possible.
Thanks for the link!
