Common sense and self discipline have reappeared for now - although I confess that both GB items you mentioned have been in my wishlists for a few weeks already.
I now possess more flashlights than I have ever owned in my life (I’m fifty years old btw.) The temptation to jump in and click “place order” was and is huge. This stuff is just so damned cheap. And even the least favourite of my purchases exceeds my wildest expectations in terms of performance.
It know now that it would have been wiser, initially at least, to concentrate on quality - there’s that old truism about “buy cheap, buy twice”.
So now I figure to do some more research (BLF is a mine of information as you already all know) and try(yeah, I know!) to limit myself to one good example of each type of budget flashlight.
