TIR for FW1A (Pro) Mod?

I’ve done a few FW3A mods and I now want to move on to an FW1A Pro. I’d like to add AUX LEDs to it with a TIR optic.

I’m struggling identify the TIR to use. There are some TIRs linked in this thread, but almost all of the links seem to be broken. The only TIR I could actually identify in that thread was the LEDIL suggested here.

However, that thread was for the FW1A with a 3535 footprint, whereas the FW1A Pro XHP50.2 emitter has a 5050 footprint. I assume that the Ledil wouldn’t be compatible with that.

So I think I have two options:

  1. Switch to a 3535 footprint LED (e.g. SST20, 519A or even a FFL351A) with the Ledil optic above, or

  2. Keep the XHP50.2 emitter (or swap it for e.g. an SFT40 or the FFL505A), in which case I need to find a drop-in, compatible TIR

Does anyone know a suitable (and available) TIR for the 5050 footprint in the FW1A Pro?

What else should I be thinking about? Any ideas?

Got calipers? If you would, determine the size that the TIR optic needs to be and report back.

I have the non-pro version? Do you know if it has the same head, bezel, etc. dimensions? I could check my collection of TIRs.

Edit: probably easiest if you measure the height and diameter of the stock reflector.

The bezel is glued, so I didn’t open it yet, but I’ll do that to get the measurements.

The FW1A Pro reflector is 13,9mm high and has a diameter of very slightly under 23mm.

The hole at the emitter end has a diameter of 7,7mm - wide enough for the 5050 footprint.

After some internet research, I think I’ve found suitable optics for the FW1A Pro with the XHP50.2 (or a replacement 5050 emitter like the XHP50.3 or SFT40).
