Hey. New to the forum. I currently own a TN30 with three AW 3400 cells. I’m currently awaiting the TN32 I ordered. Is there any benefit of running unprotected cells or IMR in either of these lights or do they not draw enough current. I know the TN32 is driven at around ~6amps, but that’s divided between 3 cells. So each cell is only getting a 2 amp load correct? Any help would be appreciated.
Since the cells are in series I would use protected cells only.
I only use unprotected cells in parallel or single cell lights.
