Yes exactly .23A on as high as it can go…when I just bump and barely dim (just enough to see the light intensity drop by a fraction)…drops to .11-.13A
So just barely dimming the light from max on cuts current draw as you said CONSIDERABLY…and I paid $1.89 I believe, I bought 5 of em as well [holy smokes they are $6.90 for a pack of 5 at FT aka $1.38 a piece!!! ]
This one I got from FT 3 emitters isn’t nearly as bright (bright enough to get around if there is no power/light in an emergency situation…but testing now shows .04A

I don’t believe the 5 pack from FT have the ramping feature, just touch sensitive on/off? Correct me if I am wrong.
Visually they look the same in the photos as the ones sourced from the ebay vendor but until someone at Fasttech answers WarHawk's question there, we don't really know if they are ramping.
i was also less interested in the cooler tint of the Fasttech version.
The description says “Pure White”, I have to agree. I can’t detect any hint of green or yellow, nothing, just white Wish all my flashlights were like this.
I just coated one in clear nail polish to conformal coat it, put tape over the metal USB pins…then heavily doused the entire component side with 3 layers of clear gloss nail polish…still running like a champ and now don’t have to worry about shorting it out…mine is a cool white…very nice and very bright
I use it to conformal coat my unprotected electronics in my vaping rigs (might even start putting it on my drivers too)
Stupid tanks leak and get all over my kick modules in my vaping rigs…without the nail polish conformal coating…they probably would have gone kaput by now (I lost my first Vamo V3 a while back…all goopy inside and you guessed it…bzzzt)
I think it's from the same company that Saypat just bought . the gooseneck and the head is exactly the same ....Saypat sent me a link to the Ikea site and they had desk lamps and clamp lamps that had the same head and ran off 110V so i'm assuming they are the same manufacture ..Definately 2700 K ..and as i was telling saypat in a pm . The 80 lumen desk lamp isn't very bright they way I have it either ..I have mine diffused with a traffic wand and also by the shade of a lamp . It just throws a soft ambient light for watching tv or navigating the room ....The way I've got it ..it's almost not enough light to type by .
