Too much power drain on my Ultrafire H3 D

I bought an Ultrafire H3 D from Manafont and was using it as an EDC. One day I accidentally dropped it from my pocket and the next thing I know the switch part remains warm even though the light is off. It totally drained an unprotected 18650 battery overnight! The battery was so hot I thought it would blow to smithereens.

I know it has this parasitic drain thing but this is ridiculous and there's no way I'm using it again until it gets fixed. Does anyone who own this type of light happen to encounter the same problem? Is there a way to fix it?

Do you mean a UF H3 headlamp? Probably a problem with the switch. A friend dropped his ufh2 and it works sporadically now

That's the one. I guess it's not as durable as it looks.

That's very dangerous, you've developed a short somewhere. That much drain is not called parasitic anymore. A popped positive contacting the body perhaps.

Good judgement call on not using it until it's fixed.
