Its a hard choise i guess… More light and runtime, more expencive. A little less light and runtime, a bit cheaper.
I guess my mind goes against the 3t6 for this time due to my budget

You are welcome. Most BLF members support Fasttech, and are highly rated. I do own both the both the TR-J18 and the TR-3T6. The J18 does really light up and area. I was at a reck, and lit up the area while the Police and Firemen arrived. The 3T6 is a light that most members own, because of the cost vs performance. The Sky Ray King is a nice light, but it is more expensive, and there are a lot of fakes. Fasttech does sell the real item, and if they did not, BLF members would quickly report it. I wish both of you luck, and lots of fun with torches. Everyone here will be willing to help you, just ask…
Interesting that you say that, as I’ve got both the 3T6 and J18 as well. Stock drivers put out (on mine) 4.5A and 8.8A respectively, and at best the 3T6 on high is around the same as medium on the J18. Are you referring to output after modding? You should get much more runtime on the J18 off 3 26650’s than 1 hour.
Pleiku, Kon Tum (Fire Base 5) , Da Lat (Tiger Falls), Ban Me Thuot. I love the terraces in Da Lat, and the orchards. Oh, Tiger Falls so cool. I couldn’t believe the Yellow Pine trees and the red clay ground, just beautiful. I loved a girl in Ban Me Thuot, so beautiful in all white, but I was so young, and dumb, and a soldier. I could have a child there, that I would never have known, have felt so bad for years, just didn’t know any better. But I paid a tall price, in and out of Army hospitals, most of my life. My best friend Tuy Nguyen Van Tuc, think of him often, last saw him in the Central Highlands, on a small FB. We were the same age, he went to High school in Nha Trang. Have never forgotten…and Chi Duc Thanh… so long ago…
Yeah that’s the area I’m living in. I’m based in Pleiku until May and have spent quite a few weekends in Kon Tum. Drove to Buon Ma Thout and through Dalat bout a year ago from Saigon. Small world.
