I would rather the TS10 and all it’s variants remain 14500-only.

A dual-fuel should be a separate, distinct, other model. Maybe the rumored 18650 version of the TS10.

I completely agree. Something similar in an AA/NiMH/14500 (maybe with USB charging) model would be welcome. But I don’t think that it should replace the current TS10.

For those that love the TS10 because it’s a tiny 1400-lumen $20 pocket rocket, going dual-fuel would make it something other than a TS10, IMO. I’d rather they went for a different model altogether and leave the TS10 small, cheap, and 14500-only than take something that’s loved for what it is away for a feature that a lot of us will never use. I’m all for Wurkkos making a dual-fuel light that’s bigger, pricier, and dimmer, but leave the TS10 a TS10!

The fact that their job gives them an infinite supply and many think that they can always find AA’s in stores even in a natural disaster where all the shelves are empty, the alkaline AA is the ultimate bestest battery that could ever possibly exist.

Hahahaha, so true. I live in an area with an above average disaster rate, and the shops sell out of alkaleaks instantly whenever there’s the threat of one. Meanwhile, I have a big stock of 14500s, a solar charger, a charger in each car, and a generator with an emergency supply of fuel for at least 2 days of light use. I’d trust my 14500s (and other, larger li-ions) much more than trust being able to find alkaleaks in the event of a disaster.
