Did the lower 3000K only come in a copper body? I mean I love the copper and have a 4000K version but a low Kelvin alu version would make good, affordable candle lamps.
Copper is great, but x3 is expensive.

I don’t think it was ever available with an aluminum body.
If you’re able to do emitter swaps, IIRC the Nichia E21A can be swapped in, and it is available in a pretty large range of CCTs from Hank (from intl-outdoor.com, AFAIK it is a special request item)
the 3000K LEDs that came in my Copper TS10 were really disgusting… not recommended… The only other version that came w 3000K was Brass.
Although it IS possible to swap in E21a to a TS10, it is not easy, and by the time we pay for the LEDs and shipping, plus a modding fee, it is cheaper to buy an Emisar D3AA w DeDomed 2700K 519a for $43.
Besides much nicer LED options than TS10, other advantages of the D3AA include, AA compatible, and optional tailmagnet.
The least expensive option might be to use a TS10 or SC13A with an Amber filter of some sort. The advantage of the SC13A is built in charging and tailmagnet. (and it costs even less than a TS10). fwiw, both the TS10 and SC13A use the same driver…
Good thinking, I’m not up for modding, or the costs of the LEDs. I’m thinking a couple of discs of yellow filter with a diffuser on top could be a versatile option.
Boaz sells a minus-CCT orange filter, should work great for that.
Sounds perfect, I looked it up and found pics on Reddit, great option, thanks
