pretty sure yes bulb is dome.. and I think they mean in the TS10SG, which works fine with the 519a dome. It also works with a DeDomed 519a. I believe 519a will produce a floody beam, useful for general EDC.
Some people might complain about artifacts around the outer edge of the beam, due to the beads on the TS10SG optic. But it might not be too bad, with the 519a.
It would be good if Wurkkos could post a photo of the 519a beam from a TS10SG aimed at a wall from 1 meter away, to show the beam, including the outer edges..
We have seen a shift away from using Nichia because they are more expensive being imported and . The companies that have them optionally available charge the customer which is fine for more custom lights. The Nichia are VERY consistent, which was a problem for CSP. The good CSP in the TS10 and some other Wurkkos lights, were perfectly acceptable for the price. The new Hopthink seem really great and could be a good option but they seem to have a consistency problem much like CSP.
Jackson from JL Hawaii claims demoed Nichia have a shorter lifespan but I have never seen anyone measure a degradation of light output or an early death of a demoed Nichia.
3535 would be ideal for the TS10 V3 for modding purposes but that would mean finding someone with more delicate soldering skills than me…
agree! I am very happy with the Hopthink LEDs from Emisar (they use the inhouse branding NTG35 for the ones that use the same 3535 solder pads as 519a)
the ones in this pic are 5050 footprint but the same 2700K, 4200K, and 5000K color temperatures are available in 3535 solder pad footprint
Ok, then as @jon_slider mentions it is a matter of picking an LED that works. I know that the realities of unit costs and availability can limit emitter choices. But I want to think that with the variety of LEDs out there today there is something available within your constraints that would work well in a triple configuration.

Apart from the selection of LED beads, I think there are no other issues. The circuit has been tested and I have also used a prototype by a 14500 battery with a charging port .
For me, I don’t want the TS10 series to disappear from the market. In a sense, it represents WURKKOS。
Someone sent me a private message hoping to make a batch of COPPER versions first. Do others have the same idea? I can’t think of any reason Wurkkos shouldn’t work with Hopthink to develop its own semi-proprietary emitters. Have to be cheaper than Nichia, Luminus and Cree and they are loved by enthusiasts. People who aren’t enthusiasts don’t care about emitters anyway.
