I think it is better now that the clip will not turn on the head when opening the light.
and I think the honeycomb body pattern is also very nice.
one suggestion, consider Clear Anodizing instead of the Silver Anodizing.. here is an example on my KR1AA on right:

Not really a fan of the honeycomb pattern, but the new tail cap is looking very nice.
Love the new tail cap. The honeycomb pattern on the middle tube is kind of cool but sounds like needlessly complex machining that will add cost. If it increases the unit cost too much, I prefer a simple smooth body instead.
So long as we are considering body upgrades, might I suggest a longer TIR lens instead of a fresnel lens? It’s already tiny enough and the slight length increase could actually be comfortable to hold.

The clip needs some changes.
I’ll try to illustrate…
Style F is ideal, but style B is good too. The Wurkkos HD10 clip is very close to ideal for this light, but it looks like the TS10v3 design changes will make the clip land at the wrong place. Here are the issues with each style:
- A + D: The clip lands on the slope, so it is hard to clip on to things.
- C + E: The clip is too short.
- G: The clip goes past the seam between body tube and head, so it scrapes when twisting the head to change the battery.
Ideally, the clip should be just land on the body tube, right before the seam to the head.
Also, 2-way clips are bad at 2 things instead of being good at 1 thing. I really don’t like 2-way clips.
Here’s my favorite design, with the clip adjusted to fit better:

I think the honeycomb is pretty cool. It’s like the new Rolex land-dweller. I like the new tailcap as well.
As for Hopthink, that was my suggestion so I really appreciate you looking for them even if it didn’t work out. I’m a bit surprised at the outcome because Emisar/Noctigon, Fireflies and I think Skilhunt all work with them on emitters but Nichia are always well-loved by the community.
