Dear Friends ,
I am thinking to use Ultrafire c8 xml - l2 as bicycle light .
Will you please inform its actual throw , flood , brightness , runtime and built quality etc ?
Any specific problem etc faced commonly ? Few users say that its switch quality is not good and creates problem .
Above all how will it be as a bicycle head light mounted with a cliper ?
Any other low budget flashlight like this suitable for bicycle light ? Something actual 500 lms with good flood ( can light up 15 ft wide road ) and throw beam ( can clearly light up about 80 mt ) pattern will be best for me .
I'd not use a C8 for that. They are too throwy for that sort of task, and of course, most of them are not that well made. I have an MC-E zoomie as a bike light and an XM-L T6 ebay bike light. The T6 is putting out over 1,000 lumens--even most of my XM-L2s have trouble keeping up with it...
You'd need the bike attachment devices (also available on ebay) that keep a light on a bike--and I've gone through 2 of those until I found one that was worth a dang.
