Came across this while looking for an 18650 headlamp, to be used while working on cars.
Anybody have any experience with this one? Or any thoughts as to the suitability (or something better in the price range?).

I had not seen that one, it looks interesting with the variable brightness, and I think it could be a very nice headlamp, but someone has to try it to get a good idea about it.
Not so sure about the head band, for wearing the lamp for longer periods I think a conventional band made of elastic fabric, with also a band over the top of your head would be nicer. A band like this I think is only suitable for very lightweight lights.
that band looks like it is plastic’y
maybe if used overtop a helmet but i don’t think i could wear something like that without it giving me a headache cause you’d have to pull the band so tight to keep it from moving
that is unless that band is made of some other material that has a lot more stretch / elasticity than what it appears.
