For me the tailstand is also very important. How did you cut the tail?

Very nice mod! Regarding the non-fitting positive driver contact: I had the same problem with mine, Efest 10440 just didn't make contact because of the driver retaining ring. I just put a blob of solder on the positive driver contact and then it worked.

Where did you get the neodymium magnets from?

Thanks. A junior hacksaw and file will do it no problem.

Thanks. I would usually solder a thin copper circle to the driver contact but i made the copper button disc as a temporary measure until i work up the courage to go for getting that retaining ring out, then i will dremmel the offending ledge away so the cell fit through it.

I use spider magnets in the UK
