I haven’t built a flashlight in a while; now I need/want to build two but for a very unique application.
I am building a 1/10 scale (overall length about 18”) RC truck and I want to put some high powered headlights on it!
The lens size will be 20mm, so that is my starting point. The truck runs on 4S lipos. I’ve got a pretty good amount of space and plan to power them off the truck lipo’s.
Any thoughts from you engineering types?!
20mm elliptical TIR lenses for a flat (vs circular) beam.
I’d wire the 2 LEDs in series and use a step-down driver that can handle the voltage.
