I love it!The best UI (with Anduril) i’ve seen in long time.
Did some upgrade though...
E14III got Nichia 219B sw45k and MC13 got Turbo boost with some GITD love

Anyone tried removing NTC from E14III driver? Stepdown to 300lumens for this copper quad is a bit too much :(
speaking of stepdown…
I put in a 3.6V Aspire 18350, click to turbo and after a few seconds I assume LVP kicks in and it just shuts the light off. No step down I guess. This is a pretty high drain cell too so I imagine a lower drain cell would do this even sooner.
So it's time to think about driver upgrade...
I am also sending an email Martin, I would love a code. Thank you.
Does anyone know how long the turbo actually lasts before stepping down?
The manual says turbo lasts 35 min, but I assume it doesn’t stay on turbo for the full 35 min.
Maybe it does?
Turbo lasts 3min.
See Zero’s review:
Oh, I forgot this thread was for both the MC13 and the E14 III.
I Specifically meant for the MC13. Still 3 min?
I would use Google now...

Anywhere to purchase an extra 18650 and 18350 tube? Tried emailing Max and he doesn’t think Manker sells extras
Does anyone know the max current on E14? I’m considering swap to E21A but don’t know if it’s too much for those leds.

I did the same thing, and it works great.
I received my combo today …well part of it.
I got the BLF EDC Muscle Combo brown box in an unmolested, perfectly intact bubble envelope.
Inside said box was the MC13 (#BLF 200239) head and 18650 tube with switch … 1 USB cable pkg … 1 user manual for MC13 … 1 user manual for E14 flooder.
I did NOT receive the 18350 body tube nor the E14 copper flooder head in NW.
anyone else come up short in the delivery?
EDIT …
Manker made good on the missing combo parts.
I received them today.
Thank you Steven @ Manker !*
have you contacted the shop?
Yes,
I sent an email reply from my order shipment confirmation.
I know this is horrible timing with CNY going on right now.

Ive just been reading through this, trying to learn some stuff about my MC13 and E14III and im noticing that all the photos being shared of the E14III show the copper head as having pretty standard looking grooves cut into it. Similar to the MC13.
Mine however has nicely rounded over edges.
Just sharing.
Id also like to share the fact that the clip on the short tubes comes loose pretty easy, and unless you have the right bit to re-tighten it, this could be an issue for some people.
The clip on both my E14III and MC13 came loose and I dont have the right bit, so I had to just take the clips right off.
I then sealed the holes with JBWeld.Another thing I noticed is that some people here were having the same issue I was having, where you cant mechanically lock out the E14III.
My biggest issue with this, is that it makes changing mode groupings pretty much impossible.
A solution I accidently found today though, is that my 18650 tube does allow me to mechanically lock out the light.Another issue ive just come across with my E14III is that the glass lense is just slightly too small in diameter so that the o-ring over hangs it on one edge and does not properly seal.
It is definitely not water tight, thats for sure.Im thinking maybe I could use some silicone sealant in place of the o-ring?
The stuff you squirt from a tube and it dries on its own.
I just posted a thread about how to change the moonlight groupings.
Found this out by accident, was trying to access the ‘engineering mode’ but it doesn’t seem to exist on my light, instead it has a moonlight group brightness adjustment mode of sorts. First of all you need to isolate the threads on the body, with the light off, press and hold the button and tighten the head. Previously this would enter engineering mode and flash some lights, but on my model it just light up a dim light. Pressing the button will cycle between 32(I think) different brightness lev…
There seems to be some defect on the anodizing of the 18350 tubes, what I did is I wrap the threads in PTFE plumber’s tape and the light can mechanically lock out now. I left the tape there even after adjusting the mode group as the tape makes the thread feels silky smooth.
I purchased my E14 III from a local retailer and mine came with square cut heatsink fins, and the lens cover on mine seems fine though
