I have had my Sl-20x since I was 15yr, so 24yrs. I upgrade the bulb to a led drop in from Terralux a few years back. It is super bright and my battery lasts a lot longer than the filament style bulb. Now thy no longer make that drop in and nobody else does either. cant even find a used one. I know very little of leds. Just some projects here an there.
So I would like to make an led mod for the other 2 sl-20x I have. It seems I can run a xhp70-6v. I just want on and off function. Do I need a driver? Flashlight runs on 6v battery stick. I’m limited on space inside. any suggestions, help, direction are greatly appreciate. ill upload flashlight specs and a bunch of pics once im aloud to.
