USB rechargeable flashlights. Let me know how many available

Hi friends from BLF…

I want to buy a USB rechargeable flaslight…. no matter if it uses nimh or liion….

I only know about the klarus rs1a reviewed here

Review: Klarus RS1A ("built-in charging function series") ….

Any other… please?

thanks¡

Roche f6

Roche F6 has an adapter to work that way, remove the head and screw that in, it is not built-in like true incorporated USB charging flashlights.

Basically all MH flashlights from Nitecore can be charge via USB cables, http://www.nitecore.com/productList.aspx?cid=129

Then you also have the P25 Smilodon and Olight R40 Seeker

dot forget the klarus R-serie :)

Yep, I guess the op is aware of that. In case he's not, http://www.klaruslight.com/plist.php?id=49&lge=en

$71.48 Fenix UC40 Ultimate Edition CREE XM-L2 U2 + Tailored 3400 mAh/3.6V rechargeable Li-ion battery

Foursevens MMR-X Regen has mini USB rechargeable.

Definitely not a budget light… but it’s an option if you’re going that specific route.

tx… but… too expensive….

I continue searching for one…

I like this:

      [**JKK-13**](http://intl-outdoor.com/2usb-mobile-device-charger-318650-xml2-sideswitch-flashlight-p-741.html)

Katun, I was totally gonna post that one. I got a very similar one from Amazon, but the one pictured is superior in several ways.
First it has an XML_2 supposedly.
It also has a CAP for the bottom which is pretty important with a side-switch.
It hides the strobe.
It might have 7 or 8 7135 drivers instead of 6…so it may do 2450 or 2800mA for a big brighter.
Finally, its MICRO usb instead of Mini, which more cellphones use micro.
However it doesnt seem to come with a charge cable. Mine came with a USB to X wire that has 8 different heads on it. Another brand tosses in a USB on 1 end with mini, micro, and 6 other heads like a cat-o-9tails. You can get 1 super cheap from amazon and I’d recommend it.

Here is a KD link for quite a bit cheaper. Same product as far as I can tell:

It is really nice. It charges via micro-USB, and can charge OTHER things via the two USBs…1 apple for ipad, etc, 1 conventional circuit. You can Charge itself, charge something else AND have the light on all at once. Brightness levels are nicely spaced out.
You can also tap the smaller button and it will show you the Power Level of the flashlight/batteries with the 5 LEDs. When charging one turns bright blue (on my older one) when done.

One thing to watch out for however is that MOST BATTERIES WONT FIT! I personally went with the Trustfire 2600mAh PROTECTED 18650s 4-pack at Amazon. These are 66.1mm long, quite a bit shorter than the typical 69mm protected circuit cell. Unless you pay a ton for EagleTac protected…or hope for the best and go Unprotected, I believe this is worthwhile… less capacity but its a 3x18650 light for 1 emitter! Has tons of runtime.
Anyways, note the battery length. You might have to trim springs to fit protected 3000+mAh cells.

This is an awesome gift idea too, even better than getting a 6xAA Caveman or the like. You charge it just like a cell phone. Easy! AND it fits with most people’s established patterns…they are used to charging via microUSB. Plus the ability to recharge means no keeping up with chargers. Its a winner…unless you are wanting either smaller OR a 3x XML thats really bright. This one will only hit maybe 800 OTF lumens.

great flashlight…. but… it is too big XP
