Im looking to buy a thrower and have been tempted by the Convoy C8+.
But I really like my lights to have USB Charging as I nearly always have a USB Charging capability to hand.
Is there a budget thrower that has a USBC charging port?
Or, is there a USBC 18650 battery that will fit the C8+?
Wurkkos TS30S ($60-$80 depending on current sale)
Convoy M21E is not as throwy as a C8+, but still has decent throw. M21D is a little more throwy I think. Both at around $35.
The TS30S sustains a disappointing 500 lumens after the first few minutes of stepdown.
What’s funny is that the Manker MC13 ll SBT90.2 sustains the same output as the TS30S Pro set to 55°C. The MC13 ll is so small in comparison.

Wurkkos TS11 is a fun, recent, TIR thrower model that has Anduril 2.0 and shiny AUX lights under the lens and on the button. USB-C charging port, throws about 600meters with an SFT40. The driver isn’t regulated but you’re probably not using this for SAR due to the battery size anyway. Takes any Sofirn/Wurkkos 18650 tube if you need more runtime. I set the thermal limit on mine to 60 degrees.
For the price it’s an insane value. For context I got mine for a $21 when Wurkkos first released it (promotional pricing + coupons). Not as much throw as a C8+ with similar LED, but a ton of fun packed into a tiny package.
