I got another now so i will turn the other one into a buffing machine. This one is a half a bench sander. I just used the sander to sand down the blade on a new knife it wasn’t locking that good. So i sanded the back ebnd of the blade down. Its so quick! That would would have taken ages by hand. The blade now has a little play it was to quick for me lol still more then acceptable.

I need to buy some higher grit belts for this if any one knows any sources i will have to buy from America i think. The size is 50mm x 686mm sanding belt.
This may be a silly question but has any wide ever bough wider belts and try to cut them in half? If i can find the right length.
