Ordered a charger from Vapcell AliExpress Store about four days ago and they haven't shipped the order out yet, despite the charger apparently being in-stock.
AliExpress tracking indicates the estimated delivery for this order to be around August 14!? That's over two months!?
I've ordered other items from other AliExpress stores and they usually ship "out the door" within two days or so for in-stock items. I also note that the estimated delivery dates for these previous other store orders tended to be a bit on the high side; they usually indicate estimated delivery of around one month from date of order. I usually receive items within three weeks of placing orders.
So, I'm starting to get a bit concerned about the apparent delay in the shipping out of my order from Vapcell.
Anyone else had delays in shipping ("out the door") for orders from the Vapcell store?
I have ordered a lots of stuff from AE. I got them all before estimated delivery date.So You dont need care about the date.
I ordered S4 charger in Vapcell shop. According to AE tracking information, My order status is still”Pending shipping by the seller”.
But I recevied the parcel today.(ordered 23/May, arrived in my country 1/June)
The tracking information is not correct as they dont use Aliexpress standard shipping service.
Not surprising, especially with component shortages. The delivery times are usually erroneously estimated anyways (over or under) and can’t be taken in any seriousness. Plus Vapcells shipping is very high. You can get the S4+ from places like li-ion wholesale or other online vendors.
I ordered mine from Amazon and got it in 3-1/2 days for cheaper than from the VapCell store. I only buy from AE now if it’s something I can’t find on Amazon. The price vs. shipping delay is sometimes not worth it anymore.
As mentioned in my first post, the charger was (supposedly) in stock at the time of placing my order.
Yes, I have noticed that the delivery times are estimates and are usually way out. So the delivery times quoted can't be taken as being accurate.
I did have a (brief) look around for other vendors, but either the vendors don't ship to NZ, or the charger version they have in stock may still be the earlier version and not the latest version. Many vendors via Amazon or Amazon itself often do not ship items to NZ. So I'm limited to purchasing locally (in NZ, IF items are available; more often than not, items I want are not available locally), or via AliExpress, Banggood, Fasttech, or GearBest.
You should ask seller first. Mine does not have information in AE and 17track.net.
I got tracking information as the shipping carrier sent me sms.
Shipping carrier could be changed depend on order date if you select seller’s method.
Before I ordered batteries with seller’s method from littokala shop 3 times.
All were delivered by different carriers.( For those orders, track17 was useless)
Even seller would not know the desination’s shipping carriers in early time.
From date of order until today, it took a total of 20 (calendar) days for receipt of the charger. Not bad! There was a slight delay in local delivery due to an (unwelcome, from the point of view of receiving the charger earlier) public holiday, otherwise I probably would have received the charger sooner at around 17 days!
Haven't tested the charger yet, apart from briefly switching it on and then off.
I didn't request tracking details from the seller. However, 17track.net did show tracking details once the charger had arrived in my country! At least that part of tracking was useful.
