We have been trying to activate a dedicated vendor account (username: Zegalit) but the activation emails are not coming through. While we wait for admin help, I wanted to introduce our brand properly.

All our 365nm products use genuine chips with proper ZWB2 visible-light filtering. We do not sell 395nm as “UV” — you get what the spec says.

If going emitter swap, check the MCPCB size first. Most older hosts take 16mm or 20mm boards. XHP50.3 HI is a nice upgrade for output and tint. SST-40 or XM-L3 is the easy drop-in. Match the driver voltage to the emitter — 6V or 12V emitter needs a boost driver.

Why our ZWB2 filtering matters:
Most budget “365nm UV” products use unfiltered 395nm-ish LEDs that leak massive visible purple. With a proper ZWB2 filter:
The LED appears nearly dark when powered on — almost all visible light is blocked
Fluorescence contrast is maximized because there is no purple glare competing with the glow
Actual transmission data: >85% in the 350-380nm UV band, <1% above 400nm
A few real-world applications people have asked about:
Uranium glass cabinet display — A collector used 2x 1m 365nm strips (120 LED/m density) mounted behind a top valance in an Ikea Milsbo cabinet. Result: pure green glow with zero visible light source. The UV strips are invisible when installed correctly.
Fluorescent mineral field collecting — The 20W flood model with the wide 120 degree beam lets you sweep a gravel bed or tailings pile from 10-15 feet away. Much faster coverage than scanning with a flashlight form factor. Battery life on a single 18650 pack is about 2.5 hours on the 20W model.
Leak detection (HVAC/automotive) — 365nm flood + fluorescent dye injection. The ZWB2 filter is critical because you are looking for faint dye traces against a dark background. Any visible purple leakage and you simply cannot see the dye.
Art restoration / document examination — The 365nm bar light provides even illumination across a work surface. Conservators use it to identify repairs, overpainting, and material differences that are invisible under normal light.
Resin curing station — The 365nm strip mounted in an enclosure works for UV-cure resin. Note: resin curing peak absorption varies by brand — most work fine at 365nm but check your resin datasheet for the optimal wavelength.
One more thing — we want to get our products into BLF members hands for honest, no-strings-attached reviews.

We are also open to custom requests. If there is a UV product configuration you wish existed but cannot find anywhere, tell us. Our factory does custom LED strip densities, wavelengths, and form factors at relatively small MOQs.

I see the “which UV light” question all the time in fluorescent mineral and uranium glass communities, so here is a technical breakdown from a manufacturer perspective.
The physics: 365nm is mid-UVA, near the peak excitation for many fluorescent minerals and uranium glass. 395nm is at the violet edge of visible light — your eyes register strong purple from the LED die itself, not fluorescence.
Why visible leakage kills fluorescence: The emitted fluorescent light is orders of magnitude dimmer than the UV source. If your light also produces visible purple, that glare overwhelms the faint fluorescent glow. Like trying to see a candle in a room with the lights on.
The ZWB2 filter — the real secret: Even genuine 365nm LEDs leak some visible blue-violet. ZWB2 is black filter glass: >85% transmission at 350-380nm, <1% at 400nm+. With it installed, the light source appears nearly dark when powered on. Only fluorescence is visible. That is the “magic” uranium glass collectors talk about.
Power is overrated: A 50W unfiltered 395nm flood shows less useful fluorescence than a 5W properly filtered 365nm one. The limiting factor is UV-to-visible ratio, not total wattage. Spend budget on filter quality and wavelength accuracy, not raw power.
Quick use case guide: Uranium glass display → 365nm strip + ZWB2, near-invisible source. Mineral collecting → 365nm flood, wide beam. Yooperlite hunting → 365nm flood. Resin curing → 395nm works fine. Pet stain detection → 395nm works, 365nm shows more detail.
How to verify a “365nm UV” claim: 1) Look for black ZWB2 filter glass (not clear). 2) Shine at a white wall in darkness — visible purple is leakage, not useful UV. 3) Test on uranium glass — should glow vivid green. If dull, wrong wavelength or bad filter.

Correction/Clarification: I want to be transparent — our standard 365nm LED strips and flood lights use genuine 365nm wavelength LEDs, but ZWB2 filter glass is an optional add-on, not included by default. The strips come with standard silicone coating for waterproofing. If you need the ZWB2 visible-light filter for maximum fluorescence contrast, we can provide it as an option. Apologies for the confusion in the earlier posts — that was my mistake in the spec writeup.

I need to clarify something important and apologize for the confusion in my earlier posts.
ZWB2 filter glass is NOT included with our 365nm UV LED strips or flood lights. I was overly enthusiastic in the spec writeup and stated something that is not accurate — that is entirely my mistake, and I am sorry.
Here is the reality: we sell through Amazon US with international shipping. ZWB2 glass is fragile — it cracks in transit, and the breakage rate on long-haul logistics makes it impractical to bundle as a standard component. It also adds significant cost to the BOM. For customers who want it, we can discuss it as a special arrangement, but it is not part of the standard product.
What our products actually deliver: genuine 365nm LED chips, verified by spectrometer on every batch. We bought three competing “365nm” lights and measured all three — they peaked at 380nm, not 365. Ours peak where they should. That wavelength accuracy is the real value proposition.
